We are also in VR
According to the Spiritual Story about reality that we shall tell here, we are actually living in a “virtual reality”, a simulation, a game. Everything you see around you is really a projection of some sophisticated “system”, and our physical flesh-and-blood bodies are really just avatars in this simulation.
It’s a spiritual VR
However, in contrast to the VR metaphor, the Spiritual Story says that we, the real players who operate these avatars, are not flesh-and-blood creatures sitting in some physical room somewhere, but rather eternal energy beings. Some refer to these beings as “souls”, but we’ll use the term Energy Being (EB).
So if these EBs are non-physical, and they are not in a physical space, where are they? The EBs exist in a Spiritual Dimension (SD). This SD is also eternal and infinite. It does not have a physical location, but it “permeates everywhere”. Additionally, linear time, which we know from our physical world, doesn’t exist in the SD in the usual sense. (It’s a complex subject, which won’t be covered here, but it’s enough to say that EBs have access to the past and the future and can “travel in time”).
Properties of SD and EBs
The SD and the EBs that inhabit it have special properties, which are different from what we’re used to in our daily lives on Earth:
- The spiritual domain is eternal, infinite, limitless.
- Everything is permeated by infinite bliss, love, wisdom, joy, happiness, safety, confidence, harmonious interconnection, generosity, spaciousness, and much more – all the experiences we call “pleasant emotions”. (This contrasts sharply with the often chaotic and disjointed nature of physical reality and human society.)
- These properties are also shared by EBs, namely their nature is also infinite joy, love, etc.
- All EBs are connected to each other and to the SD, and the entirety of existence is called “Source Energy” (some call it “Ultimate Intelligence” or “The Absolute” or “God”).
- EBs can imagine things and create them in the SD, and they enjoy playing with them and with each other.
The next section will elaborate on the relationship of the EBs to the simulated physical reality.
